As 2024 gets underway, the North County Transit District is preparing for a change in leadership with a new chief executive officer in the next couple of months.

Carlsbad is set to become a new corporate location for Sunniva, a developer of cannabis products in Canada and California, the company announced May 31. The move from Vancouver to Carlsbad comes as the company sharpens focus on its California operations.
