Authorities arrested a man after a stabbing in Solana Beach early Wednesday, Jan. 31, according to an incident report.
North Coastal Sheriff’s Station deputies were called to the 300 block of Corto Street in Solana Beach at about 2:30 a.m. after a fight between two men that led to the stabbing, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department stated. One of the men pulled out a knife and reportedly stabbed the victim, who authorities did not identify. The suspect then ran into a nearby home.
Deputies located the suspect, who they identified as 21-year-old Trenton Lancashire, and arrested him on suspicion of attempted murder, according to the Sheriff’s Department incident report. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of critical injuries.
