After a little more than a year, Tri-City Medical Center and Nifty After Fifty senior fitness centers have ended their partnership, the public hospital district announced July 9.
The two entities agreed to end the partnership effective July 31, according to the announcement.
“Both organizations hold each other in high esteem and Tri-City Medical Center wishes Nifty After Fifty the very best in their future expansion and much success,” said David Bennett, Tri-City’s senior vice president and chief marketing officer.
Nifty After Fifty, a chain of 39 senior fitness studios in California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas and Virginia, opened locations in Vista and Oceanside in early 2014 to provide wellness services to seniors, Tri-City stated in its announcement. The two locations, at 510 Hacienda Drive in Vista and 3861 Mission Ave. in Oceanside, will close after July 31. Customers will be offered six-month memberships to Tri-City Wellness Center at 6250 El Camino Real in Carlsbad, Tri-City stated.
