Oceanside CA (NCTD)– The North County Transit District service changes which take effect Sunday, February 2 will add weekend service to several BREEZE bus routes as well as launch the new San Luis Rey Transit Center in north Oceanside.
The San Luis Rey Transit Center at the intersection of Vandegrift Blvd. and N. River Rd. will serve BREEZE routes 303, 309, 311, 313, and 315. All routes serving the new facility will have route and schedule changes. The public is invited to a grand opening for the transit center on Saturday, February 1 at 10 a.m. Details are available at GoNCTD.com.
One of the major features of this final phase of the Mobility Plan, which was launched in 2012 to improve interconnectivity between transit modes, is weekend service to BREEZE routes 304/347 between Encinitas and San Marcos and routes 355/357 serving El Norte Pkwy. and Valley Pkwy.
