San Diego CA— With San Diego moving into the red tier last week, SeaWorld San Diego is thrilled to announce that the indoor animal exhibits are now open. Guests can experience an amazing underwater viewing tunnel at Shark Encounter, visit belugas and walruses in the Wild Arctic and watch the playful antics of penguins at Penguin Encounter. With limited capacity, physical distancing, increased cleaning, and more, SeaWorld San Diego will continue to provide guests with fun, inspiring and memorable experiences, while addressing important health and safety needs during this time.
To celebrate the start of spring, the park is welcoming the warmer weather by bringing back our spectacular SeaWorld Fireworks show. Guests are invited to end their day watching fireworks light up the sky and can choose from a variety of physically-distanced viewing areas available around the park. The fireworks presentation will begin at 7:45pm starting on Friday, March 26 and will run daily through Sunday, April 4.
In addition to incredible animal exhibits, presentations, and fireworks, the popular Seven Seas Food Festival which kicked off earlier this month continues through May 5. Guests are loving the international flavors, amazing beverage tastings and live music performances stationed throughout the park.
