Oceanside CA— Late this morning, May 29, 2020 approximately 11:30 am, fire units from Oceanside and Vista Fire Departments responded to a reported structure fire at 547 Boysenberry Wy.

At 11:34am, Oceanside RA216 confirmed that heavy smoke and flames were coming from a two-story single-family residence from the second story of the front of the structure.
Following an initial report on conditions, Oceanside E216 pulled attack lines for primary search and fire control.
Initially, there were concerns that the fire had spread to the attic. With assistance from other units, the fire was considered under control by 12:03.
Fire units were able to halt the forward progression of the fire and contain the fire to the already involved rooms of the structure with no attic involvement.
Multiple residents from the involved structure were transported to local hospitals for smoke inhalation and burns. The condition and identity of those transported is not available at this time
No firefighters were injured during this incident.
The cause and origin of the fire is currently under investigation by an Oceanside Fire Department Duty Investigator.
