Oceanside CA— The 26th Annual Oceanside Independence Parade, scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 2020, has been cancelled.
From the Executive Director of MainStreet Oceanside, Rick Wright, “The Independence Parade Committee made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 parade. Of course, many alternatives were discussed and we will continue our commitment to provide our community with this longtime tradition. What form it will take and when it might happen will be determined by the course of the pandemic. In the meantime, thanks for your support through the years. We will come back better than ever!”
A local tradition since 1892, the Oceanside Independence Parade is made possible each year by the assistance of over 100 volunteers.
