Oceanside CA—A second public meeting has been set for January 15, 2019 to discuss the impact of construction on the two beachfront resorts that will begin this month on two lots at Mission and Pacific St.
The meeting will take place at SpringHill Suites by Marriott in the Tressels Conference Room,110 N. Myers Street, in downtown Oceanside, from 6:30pm- 7:30pm.
Information will be available regarding the early phases of construction which will involve the fencing of the two blocks on the site, closure of Mission Avenue between Myers and Pacific Street for utility modifications and excavation of two below grade parking levels. As the construction begins, parking will be removed and the fencing will take up one lane in the impacted streets.
There will be a noticeable increase in traffic on the designated construction route for the first six to eight weeks as excavation and export of the basement is completed.
The project includes two new hotels, restaurants, bars, retail, relocation and complete renovation of the Graves House (aka Top Gun House) that currently sits on the corner of 1st and Pacific St.
