Carlsbad CA— U.S. Postal Service carriers and volunteers from local high schools and the Naval Hospital came together on May 12 to collect food in the Stamp Out Hunger food drive sponsored by the Brother Benno’s Auxiliary in partnership with the La Costa postal carriers.
The food collected will be used for Brother Benno’s Feeding the Hungry Program. The program provides food boxes, which can feed a family of four for three days, to an average of 2,000 North County and Camp Pendleton families a month.
