Oceanside CA— Saturday night, April 28, 2018 at approximately 8:00 pm Oceanside Police Officers responded to the 3100 block of Jacqueline Lane, Oceanside to investigate numerous 9-1-1 calls regarding gunshots being fired in the neighborhood. Upon their arrival, Officers were contacted by several witnesses who stated multiple people had been shot.

Additional 9-1-1 callers then reported the injured parties were transported to the hospital by family members. Additional Officers responded to Tri-City Medical Center and found three gunshot victims. A 46-year-old adult male sustained multiple gunshot wounds and is listed in critical condition. A 26-year-old adult male victim had a single gunshot wound and is in serious condition. The third victim, 29-year-old adult male sustained multiple gunshot wounds and succumbed to his injuries.
The Oceanside Police Crimes of Violence Unit responded to the scene and are currently investigating this incident.
