Oceanside CA— The much-anticipated opening of the Oceanside Golden Corral restaurant, in the Mission Marketplace Center, is set for 9:30am, Saturday April 21, 2018. The Oceanside location, which has hired more than 200 people, is known for their “endless buffet” with over 150 items including USDA, grilled to order sirloin steaks.
“We have been training, getting ready and I know a lot have people have been anticipating us [Golden Corral] getting here but we wanted to make sure we did it right,” said Mario Lee, Director of Operations for Golden Corral during a ribbon cutting ceremony and dress rehearsal/soft opening for VIP’s and employee family members Tuesday evening. “We are very pleased to be here in Oceanside. It took a while but we are here now.”
The Oceanside restaurant, owned by Worlden Chang, is in the former HomeTown Buffet building and is the latest addition to the Mission Marketplace Center where a Target and El Pollo Loco opened late 2017. Prior to the Oceanside location, the nearest Golden Corrals for North County diners are in Murrieta and El Cajon.
After the 9:30am opening on Saturday. Golden Corral will be open 9:30am-10:00pm Monday-Thursday. Friday through Sunday they are open for breakfast at 7:30am and close 10:00pm.
