San Diego County CA— The National Weather Service has issued a Coastal Flood Advisory beginning Tuesday November 24 through Friday. A coastal flood advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore.
The highest astronomical tides of the year, King tides, will bring minor flooding to low-lying coastal areas of San Diego and Orange counties during the early mornings through Friday.
The greatest risk of coastal flooding will be Wednesday morning when 3 to 4 foot surf and increasing westerly winds occur,in addition to the existing high tides. Tides will lower over the weekend.
Locations; low-lying areas along the immediate coast especially susceptible locations include Imperial Beach, Mission Beach, La Jolla Shores, Cardiff and Oceanside in San Diego County and Newport Beach, Seal Beach and Sunset Beach in Orange County.
Tides listed below are the predicted high tides for San Diego and Orange Counties

• Tuesday: 7.4 feet at 7:12 am
• Wednesday: 7.6 feet at 7:51 am
• Thursday: 7.5 feet at 8:31 am
• Friday: 7.3 feet at 9:12 am

Impacts could include; minor flooding of low-lying areas along the beach. Beach parking lots and adjacent streets and structures may be affected. in addition, strong rip currents are possible at
the beaches.
