Vista CA— Early this morning, Friday July 10, 2015 at about 1:47 AM, Deputies from the Vista Patrol Station responded to a report of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian in the 2200 block of East Vista Way. As deputies arrived at the location, they located the body of a white male adult who had succumbed to his injuries.
Witnesses at the scene of the collision advised that they had seen the male in the two way left turn lane while traveling southbound East Vista Way. Upon returning to the location they located the male lying across the southbound traffic lane facing the west curb line. The male remains unidentified pending follow-up investigation by the medical examiner.
There is currently no information about the identity of the vehicle or driver involved in the collision. The investigation is continuing.
