Oceanside CA— This morning, November 18, 2014, at 10:24 a.m. Oceanside Police officers responded to the 400 block of N. Tremont in response to a call regarding a found grenade. When detonated, it has an effective kill radius of 2-3 meters.
It is not known at this time if the device is live or inert. Sheriff’s EOD will conduct tests to see. The evacuation order was lifted at 12:07 p.m.
