Oceanside CA— Tickets for the holiday-themed COASTER Holiday Express will go on sale Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 8 a.m. This is the ninth year the North County Transit District is offering the popular holiday train previously named ‘Santa’s COASTER Express.’

Families will have two opportunities to hop aboard the COASTER Holiday Express with trains departing Oceanside Transit Center on Saturday, December 6 at 10 a.m. and at 12:00 noon.
The fun-filled, 90-minute experience will take passengers on a nonstop, round-trip ride between Oceanside and Sorrento Valley. Santa Claus and his friends will greet all the passengers and pose for photos.
Tickets are $8 each for all passengers. Due to the popularity of the annual event, NCTD encourages the public to purchase tickets online at GoNCTD.com/eTicket. A limited number of tickets will also be on sale for cash-only purchases at Oceanside Transit Center, 205 S. Tremont St., Oceanside.
Passengers of all ages must have a ticket, including infants. Passengers will not be allowed to board the train without a ticket.
No tickets will be sold on the day of the event. Customers may purchase up to six tickets. These special event trains ONLY board at the Oceanside Transit Center, located 195 S. Tremont St in Oceanside.
Passengers should plan to arrive at Oceanside Transit Center at least 20 minutes before departure time to ensure sufficient time to park and get to the train platform. Onsite parking is free. The trains will leave at the designated times. Strollers, food, and drink are not allowed on the trains. Water bottles are acceptable. There will be a stroller parking area available on the platform.
