Solana Beach CA– Deputies from the Encinitas Station responded to a report of a burglar alarm at the drive up ATM at the Chase Bank located at 607 Lomas Santa Fe Drive, in the city of Solana Beach. Upon arrival, deputies noticed a black Ford F-250 truck fleeing the area. Deputies pursued the vehicle which drove behind a strip mall at 114 S.Solana Hills Drive.
The suspects exited the vehicle on foot and ran westbound on Lomas Santa Fe Drive. The suspects were both wearing black hoodie type sweat shirts. Deputies established a perimeter and requested San Diego Sheriff’s canine units to respond. Deputies and their canine partners searched the area for several hours but were not able to locate the suspects. The investigation is on-going and being handled by the Encinitas station area detectives.
