Rainbow CA– Two bodies were found by firefighters in a Rainbow home, east of Fallbrook, which burned early Friday morning, July 18, 2014.
At about 1:30 a.m., deputies from the Fallbrook Substation responded to 2023 Rice Canyon Road, in the community of Rainbow, to assist the fire department with a residential structure fire.
When the firefighters extinguished the fire they discovered two bodies inside the residence. Sheriff’s Bomb/Arson investigators were called to investigate the cause and origin of the fire. Sheriff’s Homicide investigators responded to conduct the death investigation.
The cause and manner of death, as well as the identity of the victims, will be determined by the Medical Examiner’s Office.
Units from several area fire departments including Oceanside assisted North County Fire in extinguishing the blaze.
