San Diego County CA– The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department is committed to keeping you safe this summer and all year long by making sure drunk drivers are taken off our roads.
Deputies will be taking part in DUI checkpoints across San Diego County this weekend with one set for Vista:
• Friday, July 18th – 6:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Undisclosed location within the City of Vista.
“Deputies are always on the lookout for drunk drivers,” said Sheriff Bill Gore. “There will be zero tolerance for anyone caught driving drunk. Remember: DRIVE SOBER OR GET PULLED OVER!”According to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s 2013 Annual Report, alcohol is a major factor in deadly car crashes. The Sheriff’s Department has a message for all drivers: DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE.
If you do drink, be sure to have a designated driver ready or call a taxi. Driving Under The Influence, It’s Just Not Worth It.
