Del Mar CA– For the very first time in Idol history auditions will take place at the San Diego County Fair on June 13 and 14.
All eligible fairgoers between the ages of 15 – 28 will have a chance in the American Idol auditions. There will be no prior registration.
Auditions will be held from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m., on Friday, June 13 and 10 a.m. – 8 p.m., on Saturday, June 14. Participants are welcome to bring an instrument or they can sing Acapella. For more information visit: www.americanidol.com/auditions.

Meet Chargers players and support the Food Bank on Friday, June 13

San Diego Chargers players will support the San Diego Food Bank at the San Diego County Fair, this Friday afternoon at Family Funville (formerly the Infield). Meet Chargers players who will participate in a variety of children’s activities such as, a sock puppet competition, a football toss, next to The San Diego Pavilion and other fun activities.
The Food Bank is asking families who attend to donate non-perishable food items, or make a monetary donation. For every $1 donated, the Food Bank can provide 5 meals to San Diegans in need. The event takes place at the Family Funville area (formerly called The Infield) at the San Diego County Fair.
