Del Mar CA– Very few county fairs top a million visitors, but that is not the case for the San Diego County Fair, presented by Albertsons/Sav-on. If history proves itself, the Fair is usually in its third week, or somewhere between days 17 – 20 when the sixth figure on the attendance clicker rolls over the million mark. This year – for the first time ever – we will celebrate the moment when the millionth fairgoer passes through our gates. This special VIP will be lauded with the pomp and circumstance of British Royalty, receive a Lifetime Fair Admission Pass, concert tickets of their choice for any of the remaining shows and lots of Fair goodies to make our special day at the Fair their lucky day at the Fair! Last year’s attendance was more than 1.4 million, and we have reached the million mark every year since 1989. Watch our website ticker for this year’s count and plan accordingly. Will it be you?
