About Geoff “Big Hill” Mountain
A long time local real estate executive Geoff started in Real estate in San Diego with WALKER & LEE/GREAT WESTERN Real Estate and quickly moved through the management ranks during his 14 years with them. Departing in 1989 as Vice President, he acquired his first RE/MAX office that year.
Geoff received the RE/MAX of California’s “Broker of the Year” award, in which the recipient of this award is chosen from all the broker/owners in the California and Hawaii regions. The recipient is chosen as the most committed and one who has given the most to the RE/MAX system over the past year.
After building the firm into the largest privately held residential real estate company in San Diego & the 68th largest residential real estate company in the U.S. according to Real Trends Magazine, the industry monitor (similar to JD Powers in the Auto Industry), Geoff and his partner, decided to sell the various offices to the existing management team.
This task was completed in 2008 and since then, Geoff has focused his efforts on developing an upscale boutique brokerage located in Carlsbad which specializes in North County real estate. Geoff’s personal focus is on providing exceptional service to his existing client base in residential, as well as, his specific interest marketing business opportunities.
