• Future Engineers/Inventors (ages 11–14): Saturday, 5/21, 9 a.m.–noon, at MiraCosta’s Technology Career Institute, 2075 Las Palmas Drive, Carlsbad. Fee: $60.
• Retirement Planning Today: Thursdays, 5/12 & 5/19, 6:30–9:30 p.m., Room 3516 at MiraCosta College, 1 Barnard Drive, Oceanside. Fee: $60 (spouses free).
