Oceanside CA— If you are gearing up to be a driver, you can take your classroom driver education and behind-the-wheel driver training through MiraCosta College’s Community Education Program. Sign up for both programs at the same time and save $30—the fee is just $360. Individually, driver education is $90 and behind-the-wheel is $300.
MiraCosta’s classroom driver education uses certificated instructors who interact with students and use guest speakers and contemporary audio/visual aids.
Saturday classes are scheduled for 8 a.m.-3:15 p.m. on the Oceanside Campus, located 1 Barnard Dr. Five sessions are available: 1/9–2/6, 2/20–3/12, 3/19–4/16, 4/23–5/14 and 5/21–6/18.
Three sessions of Saturday classes are scheduled at MiraCosta College’s San Elijo Campus, 3333 Manchester Avenue, Cardiff: 1/9–2/6, 3/19–4/16 and 5/21–6/18., 8 a.m.-3:15 p.m. Classes also are planned for Oceanside’s El Camino High School, Tuesdays & Thursdays, 3/1–3/31.
MiraCosta College also offers convenient after-school, evening and weekend times for behind-the wheel training. These classes meet at Carlsbad, El Camino, Rancho Buena Vista, and La Costa Canyon high schools; and at MiraCosta College’s San Elijo and Oceanside campuses. Instructors are professional and reliable.
