Editors Note: On August 9, 2020, Morgan McCray, Oceanside City Council Member District 4 Candidate contacted OsideNews via email and request a correction to this letter to the editor. Morgan McCray did not respond to the “poll” and should be listed in the’ No Response’ column.
I just conducted a Poll of Oceanside Candidates for Mayor, District 3 and District 4 Councilpersons on one issue – What is each candidate’s standing regarding the Ballot Measure passed by Peter Weiss, Jack Feller and Christopher Rodriguez of the City Council to change the agricultural zoning of land in part of South Morro Hills to build a dense housing development, known as North River “Farms” by Integral of Orange County?
I have the results. I know some are not telling the truth but I did get it in writing either by Messenger or to my email from some of the candidates. There are 10 non respondents.
People have a right to know the answer to this one question. As you know, many signatures were gathered by volunteers to get this Measure on the Nov. 3rd ballot.
