The new TrustedHousesitters shade structure will provide pups the opportunity to rest in the shade, while taking a break from puppy play time
San Diego CA— TrustedHousesitters, the largest and most trusted vacation pet sitting community of its kind, is hosting a Sweet Paws, Sweet Shade event in celebration of their sponsored shade structure unveiling on February 26 from 10am-2pm. Attendees and their furry friends will be able to enjoy the shade structure, take home some delicious treats and receive complimentary caricatures from @poisonousme, enjoy some delicious coffee from Caffe Caritazza, and be entered for a chance to win a premium TrustedHousesitters membership along with other goodies from Papaya Pet Care.
“We love being able to continue supporting the Little Italy Dog Park,” said Angela Laws, award-winning community manager of TrustedHousesitters and fellow pet sitter. “Above anything else, the quality of life for our pets is the most important thing to us, and we are so excited to offer this added benefit to the pups in Little Italy. The environment the association has created at the dog park is exceptional, and we are so lucky to be honorary members of such an incredible community!”.
Since early 2021, TrustedHousesitters has doubled-down in their support of the ever-growing pet community in San Diego, including a wonderful partnership with local dog rescue The Animal Pad, having donated over $5,000 to help with their amazing work. They’ve also worked in conjunction with the Little Italy Association to continue to make the Little Italy Dog Park a very special place for dogs and their pet parents by first adding the reinforcement fence in the large dog park area for the little pups wanting to play with the big pups, and now the shade structure to ensure the dogs have a nice area to take a break from their puppy play time.
Little Italy is home to over 3,000 pups, many of them rescue pets, and its historic dog park is a must-visit for all pet owners. The park is a safe and enclosed space for dogs to play freely in the large dog park area or the Batta | Fulkerson small dog park area, and meet up with the other neighborhood dogs. It also offers shade-filled places for pet owners to sit, including community-sponsored benches, a well maintained surface, and delicious coffee from Caffe Caritazza.
