February Promotion to Honor Those Tirelessly Working the Frontlines Amid COVID-19
San Diego CA— Continuing its commitment to recognize the efforts of first responders during the COVID-19 pandemic, McDonald’s franchisees of San Diego County kicked off a month long “Thank You Thursdays” promotion with a special breakfast for workers at Sharp HealthCare’s South Bay Vaccination Clinic.
Starting Feb. 4, the “Thank You Thursdays” promotion will provide all hospital and health care workers, police officers and firefighters (with ID or badge) a free small coffee and Egg McMuffin sandwich during breakfast hours at participating Southern California McDonald’s restaurants every Thursday in February.
San Diego County McDonald’s franchisees celebrated the start of the month long promotion by providing a warm breakfast and coffee, donated by suppliers at HAVI, to more than 100 health care workers at Sharp HealthCare’s South Bay Vaccination Clinic to thank them for their heroic efforts protecting the community.
“As we approach nearly a year of navigating the impacts of COVID-19 in our communities, the dedication and bravery exhibited by first responders is incredibly inspiring,” said Chris Rowe, local McDonald’s restaurant owner. “By offering our gratitude and the small measure of a warm breakfast, McDonald’s franchisees throughout Southern California thank the heroes in our communities for giving their all.”
This offer is valid via drive-thru or takeout during breakfast hours (5:30 – 10:30 a.m.) at participating McDonald’s restaurants in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego and Ventura counties.
