Oceanside CA— At a special meeting September 14, 2020, the Oceanside Chapter of CIVITAN International, a non-profit community service organization, will present annual awards to local charities. CIVITAN members are pleased to be able to assist the following local organizations with donations:
Vista Transitional High School
Boys and Girls Club – ROADS Program
Sports for Exceptional Athletes
Oceanside Library READS Program
Hospice of North Coast
Volunteers in Medicine
D’Vine Path
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship Program
In order to continue its donations in the face of today’s social restraints, the members of Oceanside CIVITAN had to work extra hard so that the charities it helps can meet the needs of the youth they serve. It was a challenge worth doing!
