Los Pinguos came to the United States from Buenos Aires, Argentina, with a mixture of Latin rhythms, reggae, rumba flamenca and rock. They have recorded seven CDs, appeared on three of the famous Putumayo World Music compilations and performed across the world.

Catching the spirit of roots artists like the Byrds, and Gram Parsons and the Band, Wish and the Well won a San Diego Music Award for their 2017 debut Darling, Darling. Their music combines the sparse song structures of Americana with swaths of blues, soul and classic rock.
