Oceanside CA— Join the Republican Club of Ocean Hills on Wednesday, January 16th, to welcome Lou. The title of his presentation is A SOLUTION– AS BIG AS THE PROBLEM. Among his topics discussed are: Congressional term limits, the Deep State, and the National debt.
Lou Oberman is a retired Financial Planner/Investment Adviser. He was born and raised in New York City. After high school, Lou was employed in real estate and played semi-pro baseball while attending the City University of New York from 1949 until 1952. He served as a US Marine for 8 years and from 1952 until 1954 was an Instrument Flight Instructor at MCAS El Toro, CA. After leaving the Marine Corps, he returned to financial services and founded Lifetime Financial Advisers, Inc. He sold the firm to his partner in 2003. He has been in Rotary since 1981, is a Volunteer Docent at the Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum at MCAS Miramar, and is an avid golfer. Lou has three children and three grandchildren and resides in Encinitas, CA. Since October 2013, he serves most of San Diego County as a Volunteer District Captain for the non-profit Convention of States Project.
The Republican Club of Ocean Hills (RCOH) believes in Republican values: individual responsibility, personal freedoms, limited government, a market economy, low taxes, and a strong national defense. RCOH meets the third Wednesday of each month at the Broken Yolk Café, 2434 Vista Way, Oceanside CA.
The Meet and Greet and lunch is from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m., followed by the speaker. Lunch is $15 per person and covers any food item on the menu, a non-alcoholic drink, and taxes and tip. Cash or check only at the door (sorry, credit cards not accepted).
