Limited number of tickets available for Huntington’s Disease Society of America’s Gala
San Diego CA—The San Diego Chapter of the Huntington’s Disease Society of America will host its annual “Celebration of Hope Gala” at the Pendry Hotel in San Diego this Friday, Nov. 9. The Celebration of Hope begins at 6 p.m and a limited number of tickets are still available.
A few of the notable guests include FOX Sports’ Joe Buck, ESPN’s Michelle Beisner-Buck, Padres Chairman Ron Fowler, Hall of Fame wide receiver Charlie Joiner, Chargers General Manager Tom Telesco and Head Coach Anthony Lynn, former Chargers David Binn and Orlando Ruff, San Diego State Athletic Director J.D. Wicker and San Diego Police Department Chief David Nisleit. Beisner-Buck is going to receive the 2018 Guthrie Award, HDSA’s highest honor, for her work in raising awareness about Huntington’s Disease.
Individual tickets are $400 and VIP tickets also are available and include a special VIP reception with Buck, Beisner-Buck and other VIPs and celebrities from the sports and entertainment world.
The 2018 Celebration of Hope Gala is presented by the San Diego Padres, Alexis and Ron Fowler, Peggy and Eric Johnson, Microsoft, Major League Baseball, the Los Angeles Chargers and the National Football League. It raises funds to support the HDSA, which is dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by Huntington’s Disease, a genetically-transmitted degenerative brain disease for which presently there is no cure.
