Wellness festival combining active art, yoga and silent disco expands to additional Southern California cities
San Diego CA— After a sold-out event in early June, wildly popular festival, Yoga After Dark, returns to San Diego’s Horton Plaza Park on August 19. For one night only, over 200 yogis will gather on their mats with wireless neon headphones to flow and let go under the glow of the moon and twinkling stars. In addition to its second San Diego event, the festival announces its expansion to Orange County and Los Angeles.
The Yoga After Dark festival gathers wellness enthusiasts and yogis of all levels at epic outdoor spaces for a night filled with mindful vendor markets, interactive activations, guest performances, healthy food and beverage samples and silent disco yoga. Once night falls, attendees gather on their mats with individual noise-cancelling headphones powered by SOUND OFF™ headphones and accompanied with mood music by a local DJ. The experience allows yogis to bend, balance and dance while also tuning in to a local yoga instructor.
“People crave connection and experience,” said Founder of Yoga After Dark festival, Krystal Sanchez. “It’s been amazing to see the smiles and positive responses that have come out of every event. Each one so unique and better than the last. We are preparing for the most epic finale for San Diego in August. The best part is, you don’t have to be a seasoned yogi, just show up and find out.”
Krystal, a San Diego-based entrepreneur, has already lived up to her promise to launch the Yoga After Dark festival all over the United States in partnership with SOUND OFF headphones. The festival will debut in Orange County on July 15 and Los Angeles on September 8.
San Diego’s last Yoga After Dark festival of the summer is Sunday, August 19 from 5:45 p.m. to 10 p.m. and features music from DJ Mango Jennings. The finale festival adds a chakra station, detox corner, zen lounge and guest speakers.
