Carlsbad Adrenaline Park Brings Community Together with Free Public Event to Celebrate Local Businesses; Partial Proceeds to Benefit Surfrider Foundation San Diego
Carlsbad CA— House of Air, a Carlsbad-based indoor adrenaline park, offering air-based activities, announced it will be hosting its first ever SpringFest event on April 28, 2018. Taking place in the House of Air Carlsbad parking lot, 6133 Innovation Way , from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the family-friendly event is designed to celebrate San Diego businesses (and spring!) and will consist of local vendors, food trucks, live music, giveaways, and more.
House of Air opened its doors in Carlsbad in September of 2017, bringing indoor adrenaline-filled adventure to the San Diego area. The 34,000-square foot facility provides kid and adult-friendly recreation, complete with a 30-foot automatic-belay climbing wall, slack line, gladiator joust beam, 21-foot free fall and trampoline zones for open jumping, dodgeball, basketball dunks, and perfecting aerial tricks.
The company is hosting SpringFest to raise awareness for local businesses, gather families and friends together in a fun setting and give back to the community. House of Air will donate $1 for every entry into the park during SpringFest to Surfrider Foundation San Diego. Local businesses attending the event include, Everyday California, The Wall Climbing Gym, YMCA Oceanside, Pure Fun Longboards and Surfboards, Raw Skin Surf Shack, Urban Ave Boardshop, Waterworks Aquatics, Surfin Fire, Mahalo Shaved Ice, Food Trucktopia, and more.
“You can think of SpringFest as a block party filled with tons of adrenaline-packed fun and good people,” said Dave Schaeffer, Co-Founder of House of Air. “We can’t wait to get the community and awesome local businesses together, while giving back to Surfrider Foundation San Diego. We’re looking forward to everyone coming out to our first event and for many more SpringFests to come.”
“Surfrider Foundation San Diego is honored to be named the charity beneficiary by House of Air for SpringFest,” said Michael Torti, Chairman of Surfrider Foundation San Diego’s Executive Committee. “Similar to House of Air, Surfrider Foundation’s mission is based on enjoyment. In our case, we protect San Diego’s 72 miles of coastline for all to enjoy. Thank you in advance for supporting Surfrider while catching air at SpringFest!”
SpringFest is free to attend and entry into the park will be discounted by 25 percent. House of Air will be giving away 11 unlimited yearly passes throughout the event. The passes will go to the first three people in line for SpringFest and after that they will be giving one away every hour.
