ArtFest. Don’t miss ArtFest, a delightful combination of a Fine Art Show, Asian Art Show and Art Demonstrations. A Quick Draw competition for youths and adults will take place during ArtFest on Saturday, April 7 from 9 am – 1 pm. The Garden’s juried Fine Art Show features more than 20 artists showing and selling their works including sculptors, painters, glass artists, potters, jewelry makers, as well as gourd and fiber artists. 11th Annual Lung Hsiang Exhibit and Sale. The 11th Annual Lung Hsiang Exhibit and Sale features original Chinese Brush Paintings created by members of the Lung Hsiang chapter of the American Artists of Chinese Brush Painting. The exhibit and sale is open daily from 9 am – 5 pm in the Ecke Building in the Garden. The public is invited to the opening reception on Sunday, May 20 from 2 – 4 pm. Living Wall/Vertical Garden. Learn the basics of planting a living wall. Students will be planting a 10” x 12” wall utilizing a variety of succulents. Pour It On. Putting paint onto paper can be a mixed bag of unexpected surprises. Pouring paint onto paper will certainly give you astonishing combos of intense and luminesce colors.
