Oceanside CA— Join the CA 76th Assembly District Caucus on Monday, March 12th, for a free debate among Republican candidates running for the 76th Assembly District in the 2018 elections. Encompassing Camp Pendleton, Carlsbad, Encinitas, Oceanside and Vista, the 76th Assembly District seat is currently held by Republican Rocky Chavez, now running to replace Darrell Issa for the 49th U.S. Congressional seat. In addition to the Assembly candidates, local businessman, Jon Cox, will address the group on his 2018 bid to be the next Governor of California.
Debaters for the 76th Assembly seat include candidates Phil Graham, Thomas Krouse, Maureen “Mo” Muir, Amanda Rigby, Jerome Stocks, and Brian Wimmer. Local Republican leader, Mary Baker, will moderate the debate. Mary is active in many political organizations including the Republican Women Federation, Citizens’ Alliance for Property Rights, and is co-founder and member of Citizens for Quality Education—San Diego.
The 76th Assembly District Caucus is one of seven caucuses in the San Diego Republican Party. Caucus meetings are the place to be for local activists and business leaders who want to help elect more Republicans to local office.
The 76th AD Caucus meetings are held the second Monday of each odd-numbered month except July (March, May, September, and November). On March 12th, the group will meet at the Veterans Association of North County Resource Center (VANC), 1617 Mission Avenue, Oceanside, CA 92054.
Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the program begins at 7:00 p.m. There is no charge to attend. Refreshments are available for purchase.
