Oceanside CA— Next Chapter Book Club is for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and is limited to eight members, so sign up soon.
Do you enjoy being transported to different worlds and meeting interesting characters? Taking that journey with a group of friends makes it even more delightful and fun. We are looking for members of all reading levels, including those who cannot read, to commit to attending a new book club twice a month.
The Next Chapter Book Club will meet at 4:00 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month in the Civic Center Library Foundation Room, located at 330 N. Coast Highway in Oceanside. The first book is Lucky Dogs, Lost Hats and Dating Don’ts by Thomas Fish & Jillian Ober. Books and swag will be provided at the first meeting on May 11. The book club will meet on the following Thursdays: May 11, May 25, June 8, June 22, July 13 and July 27 at 4:00 p.m.
