Oceanside CA— Saundra Waecker will be the guest speaker at Politics 101=Technology on March 4, 2017, 9:30 to 11:00 am at VANC, 1617 Mission Avenue.
Saundra is immediate past-president of the Oceanside Republican Women Federated. She currently serves on the Board of San Diego County Federation of Republican Women as 2nd VP, in charge of Membership. She served for the past 6 years in one or more capacities on the SDCFRW Board as 3rd VP and Campaign Precincts and Recording Secretary. She also currently serves as 1st VP, Programs for the California Federation of Republican Women, Southern Division Board.
Saundra helped open and maintain a Republican Headquarters in Oceanside for the last 4 election cycles in 2010, 2012 and 2014 and in 2016. She has served on the Republican Central Committee for the 73 and 76 AD for 6 years and was reelected in 2016 on the June 7th ballot. She is a California Republican Party Delegate for the CRP for San Diego County. She was Woman of the Year in 2011 for Assembly District 73 and Woman of the Year 2011 for the San Diego County Republican Party.
Life and work history:
Wife and mother of two sons, and step-mother to two sons and one daughter. Grandmother to 3 lovely baby girls. Her husband is a retired Navy CAPT who still maintains his practice as a Pediatrician and Infectious Diseases Sub-specialist at Navy Medical Center San Diego taking care of military families from the Navy and Marines. He also is active in the Residency program at Balboa; training medical students, Interns and Residents, working for the Navy through the Department of Defense. Saundra is a 4th degree Black Belt in Goju Ryu Karate, and has been training for 20 years and still trains 3 to 4 times per week. Saundra was employed as sales and marketing director for Olec Corp in Irvine for 10 years, co- owned and operated a small Print Shop in Carlsbad CA. and spent 18 years in outside sales for 2 different printing distribution companies in San Diego and Orange County. She currently resides in Oceanside CA. with her husband and 2 collies.
