Event will be held August 10 – 29, 2020 via Facebook
San Diego CA— St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center (SMSC), an organization that serves individuals with developmental disabilities through innovative programs, has announced that their annual Haute for Heart Fashion Show will be held virtually this year as a 20-day interactive event on the organization’s Facebook page. The 20 Days of Fashion and Fun kicks off on Monday, August 10th and ends on Saturday, August 29th.
Each day, the organization will highlight a different student and celebrate their abilities and achievements for all to appreciate. Debra Emerson, CEO of St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center, will kick off the event with an introductory video and will continue to provide new and exciting videos, stories, and pictures of students over the course of the 20 days. The event will conclude with a big virtual celebration for all students and supporters.
“We are very excited to present the virtual 20 Days of Fashion and Fun event and especially excited to see the faces of our students and families,” said Emerson. “We invite you and your family to join in and make this the best fashion show ever and to help us support our new services, programs, and activities!”
All funds raised from the virtual fashion show will help SMSC continue to support students during these trying times. The organization’s goal is to raise $5,000 per day, with a total goal of $100,000 that will go towards SMSC’s innovation programs, such as its Activity Center, Adult Developmental Center, Behavior Modification Program, and Senior Program.
