Encinitas CA— On December 23rd from 4 to 6 pm the Roger Anderson Chorale will sing carols along Highway 101 from D Street to H Street – in the tradition of door-to-door caroling. Encinitas 101 Main Street Association merchants will provide cookies and hot apple cider along the route.
The beauty of singing along Highway 101 during this time is to add an element of festiveness to your holiday shopping. Downtown Encinitas is filled with quirky boutiques, cool coffee shops, locally owned restaurants, microbreweries, hair and nail salons, and a movie theatre—it is the heart and soul of our community.
Supporting our small business owners is what gives our community its sense of “place”, attracting tourists and young people that want a walk-able / bike-able community.
Our downtown entrepreneurs are a key ingredient in giving Encinitas its unique character. These business leaders live here; their kids go to school here, they care what happens to our city. They are the leaders that create the underlying vision of Encinitas for all to enjoy.
The Roger Anderson Chorale is Encinitas’s own community choir. RAC’s three concert season is an eclectic blend of songs crossing international borders and traveling to all time eras. But on the 23rd, RAC will be singing well-loved carols.
Everyone can join in during your search for the perfect gift.
With all the options our downtown merchants provide you will be sure to find something for all kids “from one to ninety-two”. There will be a nice bauble to “deck the halls”. So come on and “rock around the Christmas tree” with RAC and Encinitas 101.
