Escondido CA— Every year, the California Center for the Arts, Escondido brings the North Pole to the heart of Escondido with our 15th Annual Winter Wonderland Festival. The festival is from 3pm-7pm and hosted throughout the entire campus.
Children will have the chance to frolic in real snow, create winter-themed arts and crafts, watch a special princess show featuring an ice queen & ice princess and even rendezvous with live reindeer!
The highlight for kids is, of course, Santa Claus himself, but there will also be a number of holiday-themed entertainers—from carolers, to stilt walkers, to storybook princesses—for all ages to enjoy.
Also, patrons will be able to purchase food from local food trucks, while enjoying our version of the North Pole.
At dusk, our Lyric Court will come alive with twinkling lights, and no one will be able to resist the holiday spirit! There are always a few extra surprises in store, so don’t miss your chance to celebrate the holidays at the Center!
Thanks to our Winter Wonderland Festival sponsor, the Linden Root Dickinson Foundation!
New this Year: Thanks to a contribution from The Escondido Charitable Foundation, the campus will be the home to various light installations, which will include large festive wooden cutouts, enchanting tunnels of light, and endearing scenes. These installations will come alive as part of our lighting ceremony during the festival. Then, come back through December 31st to take in the scenes of light that will bring our campus to life!
