September 22 gala to highlight the organization’s dedication to empower homeless families

Vista CA— Solutions for Change, a San Diego nonprofit dedicated to solving family homelessness, will hold its annual fundraising gala, “An Evening to Remember… with Legendary Sports Icons,” on Saturday, September 22nd, at Omni La Costa Resort and Spa. The event will welcome hundreds of guests to a high-profile premier North County gala.
At past events, Solutions for Change has honored American heroes and been honored by world renowned leaders. This year, the organization is recognizing Legendary Sports Icons who have transitioned into playing for much larger stakes – going into some of the toughest fields of play – inner cities, underserved communities, and the streets – using an entirely different playbook to change the lives of those in need.
Solutions for Change is proud to feature Deion Sanders, one of the most electrifying athletes to ever play sports and now, a Catalyst for Change, transforming lives in his hometown of Dallas. “As someone who knows the importance of equipping those in need, I am honored to be a part of An Evening to Remember,” says Deion. “With comprehensive programing, Solutions for Change provides homeless families with the skills, education, and tools they need to gain self-sufficiency and dignity.” Deion will be joined by other Legendary Sports Icons, like Steve Largent, for what promises to be one of the most awe-inspiring galas yet.
Tickets for this year’s event are $375 with sponsorship packages starting at $3,500.
