Oceanside CA— The Friends of Oceanside Parks and Recreation will be hosting a Fall Festival/Chili Cook-off on Saturday, November 12 from 12 noon to 4:00 p.m. at Heritage Park (220 Peyri Road in Oceanside). The Chili Cook-off is only from 12 noon – 2:00 p.m.
There will be music, food, vendors, and more. The event is free, but Chili Cook Off Tasting tickets are $5 per person. The Oceanside Fire Department and other local groups are participating.
At approximately 2:00 p.m., the Friends of Oceanside Parks will be presenting the Oceanside Fire Department a plaque to “honor their commitment and tireless efforts to protect the public and prevent fires in our community.”
This is an annual event and fundraiser to assist the Friends of Oceanside Parks and Recreation so they can support future events such as summer concerts, movies in the park and more.
