Vista CA— Vista Community Clinic (VCC) is pleased to announce the annual Health and Hope for Our Youth Gala on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad.
Proceeds from the gala will benefit VCC’s affordable, high-quality pediatric medical and dental services, and youth development programs for low-income middle and high school students.
The evening will begin with a cocktail reception and casino games at the elegant Costa Del Sol ballroom. The cocktail reception will be followed by dinner and live auction featuring items such as a trip to Hawaii, a stay at a Big Bear vacation home, and an elegant dinner for 12 at the beautiful residence of a Rancho Santa Fe winemaker. A video program will highlight the impact of VCC’s programs for children and youth.
Clint Bell, a well-known auctioneer in the San Diego area, will conduct the live auction and serve as master of ceremonies.
The gala is the biggest fundraiser for VCC, known for its exceptional health services for low-income, uninsured and underserved patients in San Diego, Riverside and Orange counties.
“Our annual gala raises vital funds to ensure that the children and youth in the communities we serve have access to affordable, high-quality healthcare and youth development programs to flourish and reach their full potential,” said Fernando Sañudo, Chief Executive Officer of VCC. “These services lay the foundation for healthy futures. Because of what we do, children are succeeding in school. They are graduating from high school, setting goals for college and inspiring others around them. We are counting on the generosity of our friends and supporters to help us make this a successful event and allow us to continue our work in the community.”
The 2015 Health and Hope for Our Youth Gala drew more than 400 business and civic leaders, and members of the region’s health care community. The event raised $250,000 to benefit programs and services for children and youth.
Support the gala: Tickets to Health and Hope for our Youth are $200 per person. Many levels of sponsorships are available. For tickets and sponsorships, please contact Betsy Heightman at 760.631.5000 x1139 or Betsy@vcc.clinic.
