Oceanside CA— Join Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside (BGCO) on October 31st from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at their Townsite Clubhouse in Oceanside for a “spooktacular” Halloween. As an alternative to trick-or-treating door to door, BGCO invites the community to enjoy fall festivities, themed carnival games, a costume contest, music and treats for all ages.
Each after-school program will create activities for the carnival such as Pin the Bow Tie on the Skeleton, Witches Hat Toss, and the Phantom PhotoBooth.
The event is expected to have more than 200 attendees dressed in costumes, jumping in bounce houses, taking pictures, trick-or-treating; and, with large donations of candy, each child will receive a well-stocked treat bag. Volunteers from Kohl’s Cares Associates in Action and the military will be a significant support to the success of the night.
Safe Night Out is designed to bring the community together is a fun way, and provide youth a safe alternative to Trick or Treating. BGCO continues to build Great Futures through being committed to providing youth with a safe, engaging, constructive environment to spend time during non-school hours.
