Oceanside CA— Wayne Kotow, the newly appointed executive director of the California Chapter of the Coastal Conservation Association will be the featured speaker at the February meeting of the Oceanside Senior Anglers.
CCA-CAL was launched at the 2015 Fred Hall Show as a non-profit conservation organization working to represent the interests of recreational anglers.
Concern has risen sharply in the past decade by sportsmen over non-elected regulatory agencies clamping down on recreational fishing. “CCA has proven time and again that anglers are the best stewards of the marine environment. We work to protect the health, habitat and sustainability of our marine resources,” said Kotow.
The February general meeting of Southern California’s largest fishing club will be held on Tuesday, February 2, at the Oceanside Senior Center, 455 Country Club Lane, 9:00 a.m.
Open to all anglers age 50 and above. For more information visit OSAnglers.org.
