Oceanside CA— On January 29 2016 The North County LGBTQ Resource Center will held their Annual LGBTQ Town Hall Meeting at the Oceanside Library Community Rooms, 6:30pm.
Every year the North County LGBTQ Resource Center publicly shares its accomplishments, and stories with the members and allies of the community. After a year where our Center has experienced the loss of three Transgender youth, this public meeting is an opportunity to see what the Center does every day, how it affects the community and how it addresses discrepancies in LGBT competency among service providers.
The Mayor Jim Wood, Oceanside City Council Members, LGBT liaisons for the Police and Fire Departments will be attending along with community leaders, and other local non-profit organizations.
