Oceanside CA—Oceanside’s Heritage Park Village Museum is currently looking for volunteers to assist in renovating the Heritage Park buildings. These original structures date from the turn of the century and feature the City’s first General Store, the Blacksmith Shop and Livery Stable, the Portola Inn, the old City Jail, a doctor’s office, Libby School and The Blade Newspaper.
This historic park serves as a beautiful backdrop for special events and gatherings of all kinds. If you have an interest in finding out more about Oceanside’s history, this is a great way to get involved. Heritage Park is also looking for docents to conduct tours on Sundays.
