Carlsbad CA— The City of Carlsbad presents a new teen event, Epic Teen Nights: Party at the Park on Saturday, Feb. 21, from 5 to 9 p.m., at Calavera Hills Community Center. Teens from 11 to 15 years old will enjoy age-appropriate activities, dancing, contests and more.
Parents can drop off teens for a fun-filled night complete with a black-light dance room, a game truck, Zorb ball races, an outdoor movie, an inflatable dodgeball arena and more.
Teens can Instagram shots from the photo booth, compete in Kendama contests, and test their fashion design skills with trash bags and duct tape in the “Garbage Runway” contest. Prizes are provided by event sponsor Big Bear Resorts.
Only middle and high school students are allowed to attend, and participants must show a school ID. Marine volunteers will chaperone the event. Food and beverages are available for purchase.
Tickets are $8 at the door. Save $2 by registering online in advance.
