Fundraiser will benefit four-legged friends this holiday season
Oceanside CA— San Diego County Credit Union (SDCCU), San Diego’s largest locally-owned financial institution, has launched its ‘Presents for Paws’ holiday fundraising campaign benefiting the San Diego Humane Society and SPCA.
SDCCU is hoping to raise $10,000 in donations through the end of December from customers visiting any of SDCCU’s 35 branch locations in San Diego, Riverside and Orange counties, and through a link on its website, www.SDCCU.com. Donors also are encouraged to post a photo of their pet on SDCCU’s Facebook page for a chance to win a prize. “Our four-legged friends want to have happy holidays, too,” said Teresa Halleck, SDCCU president/CEO. “Help us raise much-needed funds for animals in need by making a donation this holiday season. Your donations will help save precious animals.”
Last holiday season, SDCCU’s “Presents for Paws” campaign exceeded the $10,000 goal, raising a total of $11,252.The mission of the San Diego Humane Society and SPCA is to promote the humane treatment of animals, prevent cruelty to animals, and provide education to enhance the human-animal bond. SDCCU has assets of $6.6 billion and more than 274,000 customers.
