Vista Community Clinic joined Delta Dental Community Care Foundation and Health Quality Partners to celebrate the expansion of the Senior Oral Health Partnership Program on Monday, May 6, with a ceremony and check presentation.
The event recognized a $5 million grant from the foundation to HQP, aimed at improving access to quality oral health care for vulnerable seniors in Southern California.
The ceremony, held at Vista Community Clinic Vale Terrace, was attended by representatives from Delta Dental Community Care Foundation, HQP and additional participating community health center organizations. This collaboration strives to increase access to quality oral care services for seniors to address health equity and wellness in the local communities.
“We are excited to see the impact of this generous grant from the Delta Dental Community Care Foundation in expanding access to quality oral health care for seniors in our community,” said Dr. Rebecca Cornille, chief dental officer at Vista Community Clinic. “Together, we’re making a real difference in improving health disparities and wellness for those who need it most.”
Vista Community Clinic provides affordable health care to more than 70,000 residents at 12 locations in North San Diego, Orange and Riverside counties. Services offered by Vista Community Clinic include primary care, pediatrics, prenatal and women’s health, optometry, chiropractic care, dental health, podiatry, acupuncture and behavioral health services.
Vista Community Clinic also offers a wide array of free community health education programs, which are open to all residents.
