Oceanside CA— The Mission Hills Grizzlies, known for their height and quickness, proved themselves Wednesday night on the road as they defeated the hometown Pirates of Oceanside High School, 84-52.
For the Grizzlies at 15-5, Warren Washington led with 18 points followed by Ed Fenzi with 17, Dominic Magemeneas with 12, and 11 by Cameron Wager. Mission Hills will host the Knights of San Marcos on Friday, January 27, 2017.
For the 12-6 Oceanside Pirates, who have lost two straight, Donovan Laie led with 14 points followed by Jacob Camargo and Philip Johnson, each with 11 points, and 9 for Alan Graham
Next up for the Pirates is a road trip to crosstown rival, the Wildcats of El Camino.
